My name is Elizabeth Nelson, and I am an independent photography student in Seattle. Working, taking classes, traveling and spending time with my loved ones all keep me busy and happy these days. It also brings a lot of photographic inspiration.

The past few months were so busy that I haven’t had much time to think about this blog. I’m working towards a color film portfolio of personal work about my childhood home and family, and it’s taken me a while to get the images scanned. Here is one new picture. I’ve decided not to include this one in the series, but I kind of like it despite its flaws.

Here’s another fun wedding that I assisted on for Eliza Truitt Photography this summer. This time the wedding was on Anderson Island, on a gorgeous little family property overlooking the water.

I went out shooting for the first time with my wonderful new Mamiya 7ii today. Can’t wait to pick up the developed film tomorrow!
